The original fragrance was launched in 1988 and created by perfumer Olivier Cresp. It belongs to the Aromatic Fougere family.  

Top notes include Lavender, Green Notes, Juniper Berries, Tarragon, Bergamot, Galbanum, Lemon, Artemisia, and Petitgrain.  
Heart notes feature Pine Needles, Basil, Nutmeg, Clary Sage, Geranium, Neroli, Rose, Black Currant, Jasmine, and Lily-of-the-Valley.  
Base notes are Fir, Oakmoss, Leather, Vetiver, Cedar, Styrax, Patchouli, Sandalwood, Musk, Amber, and Tonka Bean.
